Bikeathon is an effort initiated by inext (now Dainik Jagran INEXT) –the leading daily of India, a classy product from Jagran Prakashan Limited to promote biking for good health, Bikeathon is organized every year in all Dainik Jagran INEXT cities. This is an interesting mix of a bicycle rally and a cross country mini marathon of sorts, rightly called as Bikeathon.

Bikeathon is not all about biking. Its main motto is to promote health and fitness consciousness amongst the masses through the environment friendly activity. The cycling enthusiasts throng the city with their bicycles and participate with alacrity in the popular annual fixture.

In last Ten seasons more than 10 lacs participants across 4 states had got together to celebrate the spirit of biking for good health. Taking a big leap, The event saw lacs of the bikers joining the movement that's called Bikeathon. This year to the event is being tipped to be a great success with more fun, more freedom, more fitness and more connect.

Besides the rally, the event will see some inspiring musical, dancing performances from celebs at the venue to mark this Youthful extravaganza. And not to forget surprise celebrity visit. A wholesome experience with a difference! A: Yes, you have to bring your own bicycle.

A: Yes you may bring a geared bike as well.

Q: What is the distance of Bikeathon?

A: Bikeathon is a 10 kilometer cross country mini bike marathon.

Q: I am from Kanpur – where is the start and end point?

Q: Will I get medical assistance?

A: There will be sufficient first aid facilities and a dedicated ambulance will move with the rally. However, the participants themselves will need to be vigilant too and will be responsible for their own safety. Also entering the rally is to be considered their independent decision.

Q: Where will I get registration forms?

A: You can register online by clicking on the Register Online button given on the website. Forms can also be obtained from i next offices and at the select centers in the city (city wise list is available on the website).

Q: Where will I drop the forms?

A: Fill and submit the form online or register in person at any i next offices or at the registration centers.

Q: Is there any registration fee?

A: There is a registration fee of INR 100/- to be paid at the time of registration.

Q: What time does the rally start?

A: Please check event details section for the rally timing in your city.

Q: What is the reporting time for the registered candidates?

A: The reporting time is 2 hours before scheduled time.

Q: I have registered online, how will i get my kit?

A: Please bring a print out of the receipt mailed to you after online registration and a photo id proof on the day of event. Go to online registration counter at the venue, submit your registration slip; show the id proof and collect lucky draw coupon along with your kit.

Event Details

The rally starts in morning and covers a distance of 10 kms across the respective cities, with fixed starting and end points. Anybody can participate. For the safety of the participants and for a case of mishap two ambulances would follow them at all the time. With a little participation fee of INR 100/-, one can join this bandwagon of fitness freaks. This shall also include the kit that would be given to all the participants (a specially designed t-shirt and cap), along with the refreshment.
