Very stylish and deadly flirty James Bond is always remembered for his lifestyle. He loves to live his experiments and one of which I am here talking about is his “shaken not stirred” Vesper Martini.

The 'Vesper Martini' is the famous drink, ordered by Bond in both the book and the movie Casino Royale and he named it after the name of beautiful agent Vesper or you can say hot and sexy Bond girl in the same movie. In the movie Casino Royale, when Vesper asks Bond if he named the drink after her "because of the bitter aftertaste", 007 replies that he named it for her, "because once you have tasted it, you won't drink anything else."The recipe for Bond's "Vesper" martini is simple to make and bitter in taste.
To prepare Bond’s Martini take three measures of Gordon's; one of vodka; half a measure of Kina Lillet. Shake it over ice and peg is ready. Serve it chilled in cocktail glass and garnish with a thin slice of lemon peel. You can replace kina lillet, now called lillet with dry vermouth if necessary.

James Bond always likes to have shaken Vesper Martini than stirred one. Shaken Martini tastes bitterer when served cold.  Shaken Martini is the brain child of James Bond and is inspired by hot, sexy and very beautiful agent. So, Vesper Martini has to be bitter in taste and different than any other cocktails.

Very unique and James Bond’s one of favourites Vesper Martini is different from the traditional Vodka Martini in several ways.  Very first thing is that in case of Shaken Martini, ice swish around the drink more and so it is usually colder than stirred martini. Second, shaking a martini dissolves air into the mix; this is the "bruising" of the gin and it makes a Martini taste too sharp. Third, a shaken Martini will more completely dissolve the vermouth, giving a less oily mouth feel to the drink.According to British Medical Journal shaken martinis may enhance the antioxidant effects of alcohol, making them healthier than the stirred Martini.
So, if you are in a mood of just one strong peg, try this James Bond exclusive Vesper Martini. Trust me it is real strong drink because James Bond himself told Vesper in Casino Royale "I never have more than one drink before dinner. But I do like that one to be large and very strong and very cold and very well-made. I hate small portions of anything, particularly when they taste bad. This drink's my own invention. I'm going to patent it when I can think of a good name."
